The Sacred Grief Circle

A free monthly gathering for people grieving a pet. You can come after a loss. You can also come before one.

What is a grief circle?

Grief after losing a pet is real. It is also lonely in a way people don’t expect. Friends move on quickly. The house stays quiet.

The Sacred Grief Circle is a monthly gathering, held on Zoom, for people carrying that grief. It is guided by Dr. Lynda Loudon and Dr. Isla Fishburn. It is free to attend.

You don’t have to wait until after

Some people in the circle have already said goodbye. Others are preparing for a goodbye they can see coming.

That grief counts too. If your pet is still with you and you are already grieving, you belong here as much as anyone.

What to expect

There is nothing to prepare and nothing you have to say.

We meet for one hour. You can share your pet’s story, or you can simply listen. You can participate as much or as little as you like. Your camera can stay off if that feels easier.

Come as you are.
